Sea Scouting is a uniformed adventure program with four Navy based styles used: Dress Whites, Dress Blues, working khaki and working blues.  Ship 6 will start with the adults in a formal variation of the Khaki’s and the Crew with working blues.  Dress Blues will be added as soon as possible.  See Sea Scout Manual (BSA part no. 33239C) pages 105-121 for intricate details.  There are also some recent changes (2002 or "C" revision of the Sea Scout Manual) related to the uniform - for a good uniform reference and discussion go to the SSS 25 Yorkshire website .
